Position Overview

As the Global Brand Marketing Specialist, Run, you will support the Sr. Manager, Category Marketing – Run and cross-functional partners to craft and execute innovative marketing plans that align with the Category strategy. You must be consumer-centric, digitally savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional storytelling and experiences across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the category in writing marketing plans and strategy presentations by compiling data, insights, and creating deck/briefs.
- Become an expert on the product associated with the category.
- Coordinate, schedule, create agendas, and document recaps for cross-functional meetings.
- Own the seasonal product promotional and seeding order process, manage a budget, and communicate seasonal stories to partners while tracking orders.
- Assist in planning and executing photo shoots, collaborating with the creative team and merchandising to capture product needs.
- Execute and share research projects on consumer, sport, culture, fashion, and social media trends to keep the team consumer-centric.
- Collaborate with partners across product, merchandising, PR, consumer engagement, retail, ecomm, and regional teams to deliver holistic 360° marketing plans.
- Work with the social media team to activate campaigns that offer unique consumer experiences.
- Align with regional marketing teams in APAC/EMEA/Americas to execute seasonal priorities and support long-term strategic goals.
- Maintain the business unit calendar and coordinate events.
- Ensure seasonal hero products in apparel, footwear, and accessories are well represented in all photo and video shoots.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with typically 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree without experience OR ~6 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- A results-oriented self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
- Strong presentation skills with proficiency in both virtual and in-person settings.
- 2-5 years’ experience with traditional business computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Word) with essential Mac experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of emerging social media platforms, influencer marketing, or integrated marketing is a plus.
- Experience in sales, events, retail, footwear, or apparel industries – or a background in sports, gym/fitness, or fitness technology – is a plus.
Compensation
$67,547.98 - $92,878.47 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement will reflect an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This base salary is one component of Under Armour’s competitive Total Rewards package.
