The Security Auditor, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will be responsible for handling the collection, inventory, and secure destruction of intellectual property (IP) waste materials. The Specialist supports the Supply Chain Security team with a focus on IP waste management.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Manage inventory of collected IP waste materials.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of collected IP waste materials.
- Coordinate and assist with secure destruction events.
- Ensure compliance with IP protection protocols during collection and destruction processes.
- Document and track all material movements from collection to destruction.
- Support chain of custody requirements for sensitive materials.
- Follow company procedures and processes related to Supply Chain Security best practices and the handling of confidential information.
- Maintain detailed records of all collection and destruction activities.
- Monitor and stay current with security-related practices and technology.
- Support the tracking, monitoring, and reporting of the status of assigned projects and tasks.
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships and maintain alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field and two or more years of inventory tracking, secure destruction, or IP waste management experience.
- Understanding of inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of intellectual property concepts.
- Understanding of security protocols, confidential material handling, and secure destruction processes.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Proven team member skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills; Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:
- CPP, CPI, CISM, PMP, and/or TAPA Auditor certifications, preferred.
