.NET Software Developer

Position Overview

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a .NET Software Developer to become an integral contributor toward the development of various vendor and in-house applications that provide business solutions for an enterprise-level organization committed to public service and environmental sustainability throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position is 100% remote initially and may transition into a hybrid or onsite role in either Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure applications using the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript frameworks, and Web Services.
• Contribute to the design and development of both vendor and in-house applications.
• Design and implement RESTful services while creating robust unit-testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate configuration management practices including branching and merging.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Post-Graduate degree in Computer/Information Technology (or a related field) is preferred; with an applicable degree, at least 3 years of experience is required, or 5 years without an applicable degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in applications design and development using the .NET framework.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio (2017 or greater), Microsoft .NET (4.0 or greater), C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or greater) and/or Oracle (12c or greater), including T-SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as TFS, GIT, or similar.
• Experience with WPF or WCF development and modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Understanding of Active Directory and implementation of role-based security models.
• Knowledge of configuration management methodologies and the ability to develop unit-testing scenarios to simulate various failures.
