Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert counsel to clients regarding tax implications associated with estate planning.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations to provide customized estate planning strategies.
• Draft critical legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Manage real estate transactions, including property acquisitions and leases.
• Perform title examinations and address property ownership disputes.
• Oversee property transfers to ensure seamless and efficient closings.
• Analyze legal cases and provide well-founded legal opinions.
• Manage a diverse caseload of 15-20 clients, prioritizing exceptional client service.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Estate Tax Law, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate Law, or Business Law.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and legal representation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid license to practice law in Maryland (required); additional licensure in DC, VA, or FL is advantageous.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Estate Tax Law; however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, regardless of specific experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range of \(90,000 - \)140,000.
