This role overlaps with duties typically handled by a Medical Biller or Insurance Billing Specialist, playing a key part in managing patient medical costs and ensuring timely collection of payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize patient medical costs for accurate invoicing.
- Send invoices to collect payments from patients and their insurers.
- Call patients to discuss payment details and develop reasonable payment plans.
- Enter patient data into administrative systems accurately.
- Record information about outstanding claims and follow up as needed.
