Job Description

Position Overview

Senior level engineer responsible for planning and conducting intermediate to complex engineering activities. This role leverages creative techniques and in-depth knowledge of engineering principles, allowing the incumbent to make key decisions on challenging issues while also leading teams and developing strong relationships with decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply strong engineering and scientific principles across various assignments.
  • Develop, coordinate, and direct critical projects or field engineering assignments that are large or complex.
  • Lead or play a key role on process improvement teams.
  • Initiate or perform engineering studies, proposing solutions or recommending alternatives.
  • Develop presentations, build analytical models, and analyze data to support improvement programs.
  • Conduct studies and analyses to resolve engineering-related issues and assist with the development of industry standards and practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance/direction for less experienced engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum Experience: 4 - 6 years of job-relevant experience.
  • Pipeline engineering experience including part 192 utility work, Synergi modeling, regulator station design, or natural gas distribution engineering.
  • Background in distribution engineering, regulator station design, hydraulic modeling, sizing meters, and experience with regulators, valves, and pressure pipes.
