where we empower users with our innovative mobile banking app designed to simplify their financial lives. As an Engagement Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our email engagement strategies that deepen client relationships and drive brand loyalty.

Your primary focus will be leading the strategy and execution of engaging email journeys for Spruce clients. You will oversee the entire email marketing process, including planning, audience segmentation, creative development, approval workflows, quality assurance, and performance analysis.

Working closely with the Senior Email Marketing Manager and the Spruce Market Strategy Director, you'll ensure seamless execution of email initiatives and collaborate on broader engagement strategies. Your contributions here will help to maximize Spruce's growth while also exploring engagement opportunities across additional channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of Spruce engagement email marketing, including campaign creation, audience segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop personalized and automated multi-touch email journeys based on customer behavior to enhance onboarding, engagement, and reactivation efforts.
  • Analyze performance metrics consistently to identify areas for improvement in personalization, targeting, and customer journey optimization.
  • Collaborate with both agency and internal teams to ensure high awareness and alignment on marketing programs and successful campaign execution.
  • Report on email campaign performance to Senior Leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • A Bachelor's degree: in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience: in email marketing, CRM, or related fields; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Journey Optimizer is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills: with exceptional project management abilities and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset: with the drive to seek out opportunities to add value beyond core responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills: with the capability to utilize data for informed decision-making and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau and email marketing platforms is advantageous.
