Position Overview

Formosa Foods is a rapidly growing foodservice distributor serving multiple states. We are seeking a motivated Junior Supply Chain Inventory Analyst to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field looking to apply their academic knowledge in a dual-setting environment—both in the office and on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and optimize stock levels.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze supply chain data to support inventory planning and optimization efforts.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • SOP Compliance: Understand and enforce the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the warehouse.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work with various teams to implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support smooth warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Flexibility with a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities with effective problem-solving and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Robust analytic thinking skills to make data-driven recommendations for improving inventory processes.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency to support inventory management and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in bilingual Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
