Job Description
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager manages the implementation of Go-To Market plans for Americas for specified equity, fixed income, and alternatives products and thematic content. This includes contributing to strategy development, formulating product positioning, market research, content development, execution and distribution of tactics and measurement with the goal of improving and enhancing our ability to win and retain assets. The role supports the Director of Segment Marketing, as well as the marketing team and relationship managers in the U.S. and Canada, and interacts with resources from investment management, global brand management, and shared services.
Key Responsibilities
- Tactical planning and execution in support of identified business initiatives coupled with creative idea generation. Partners with cross-functional peers and segment leads to execute multichannel marketing plans; analyzes industry trends and synthesizes key performance indicators to inform decisions and adjust plans.
- Manages the development and execution of integrated investment marketing campaigns. Oversees creation of engaging output—including presentation decks, sales collateral, advertisements, web and social media content, investment insights, email promotions, and newsletters—from initial concept through final, legally approved products.
- Manages projects by gathering insights from lead segment marketers, relationship managers, investment professionals, and business unit managers to provide informed direction to creative, writing, and legal teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Supports various ad hoc marketing projects and cross business unit initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience combining marketing, communications, and investments, preferably with an investment management firm
- Experience in the institutional asset management field with a base knowledge of institutional investment strategies
- Knowledge of financial markets and investing
- Intellectual curiosity and awareness of current trends in the institutional marketplace
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
- Marketing and project management experience
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, creative thinker and problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a drive to impact business results
- Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with senior investment professionals and executives
