Retail Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

Retail Marketing Specialist responsible for the promotion, placement, training and sell through of Marcolin Brands. Servicing Department stores in assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Department Managers and Department Sales Associates.
• Independently scheduling store visits within assigned territory.
• Training store personnel to create awareness of Marcolin products on an ongoing basis.
• Maintaining a strong level of professionalism while representing Marcolin standards.
• Ensuring Marcolin products secure prime placement while upholding Marcolin standards.
• Selling Marcolin products to account sales staff and account customers.
• Providing professional customer service to store staff and store customers.
• Maintaining knowledge of Marcolin products, advertising, and promotions to effectively increase sell through.
• Creating product promotions through store selling events.
• Reporting to the National Retail Merchandising Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Professional customer service skills with strong selling and training ability.
• Ability to work with PC applications and digital photography.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Reliable means of transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Department Store or Specialty store experience a plus.
• Education: BA/BS Degree Preferred but not required
