Position Overview

The Senior Specialist, Influencer Marketing will play a key role in driving all influencer-related marketing programs at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. You will work closely with both internal teams (Legal, Strategy, Creative, Social Media, Product, CRM, Loyalty, Paid) and external partners (Agencies, Influencers, VIPs) to execute strategic campaigns that support our global marketing goals. This role involves project management, strategic planning, optimization, product sampling, event coordination, and expanding our network of brand advocates. This position is based at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the growth of the Abercrombie & Fitch and abercrombie kids creator ecosystem using innovative tactics.
  • Lead seasonal brainstorm and planning sessions to integrate creator activations into overarching marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and execute influencer programs for brand and product campaigns including agency management, campaign briefs, promotion calendars, product seeding, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee casting, campaign briefs, product seeding, travel logistics, and performance management for events such as photoshoots and multi-day influencer trips.
  • Manage Abercrombie’s ambassador program (Creator Suite) focused on nurturing a community that builds brand love, enhances product awareness, and provides customer insights.
  • Lead reviews and approvals of influencer content to ensure deliverables are on-brand and comply with FTC guidelines.
  • Source and nurture relationships with creators to drive mass brand awareness, affinity, and product conversion while managing risk.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop gifting and product seeding strategies for priority products.
  • Negotiate contracts with creators, talent agencies, and vendors.
  • Manage external vendors and agencies on strategy, briefing, execution, and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on casting and creator projections as needed.
  • Liaise with brand strategy and affiliate teams to plan content calendars and campaign briefs.
  • Partner with other channel owners (PR, social, paid media, e-comm) to maximize the exposure of influencer content.
  • Integrate program plans and deliverables into existing cross-functional processes.
  • Establish clear performance goals and own the reporting processes on weekly, monthly, and seasonal bases.
  • Present insights and test & learn strategies to senior management.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to keep the brand at the forefront of influencer marketing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably within large lifestyle or fashion brands.
  • 3+ years’ experience in program development/management, with a focus on influencer or ambassador programs.
  • Experience managing external agency or vendor relationships.
  • Established relationships with relevant influencers.
  • High level of critical thinking and aptitude for balancing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proven ability to analyze data to assess product or content performance.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including timeline and budget management.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship management, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing across diverse functions such as advertising, media, content, social, digital/e-comm, CRM, PR, events, and more.
  • Consistent engagement with marketing industry trends and best practices.
  • Superb presentation skills with comfort communicating at all levels of the organization, including C-level executives.
