Job Description

Position Overview

Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting using conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment. This role supports physicians by monitoring procedures, handling instruments and catheters, maintaining a sterile field, and evaluating diagnostic data. The position includes a Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 and is part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence, respect, care, and innovation in patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment per physician orders.
  • Assist physicians during various procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician review.
  • Support education, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Allied Health, Applied Science or completion of a certificate/training program.
  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health, Applied/Radiologic Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
