Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of electrical system design, modeling, and documentation.
  • Gain proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
  • Read plans effectively and provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems.
  • Understand and apply specifications, building codes, and electrical industry standards.
  • Model distribution load flow, short circuit, and arc flash energy using Easy Power and perform electrical load calculations.
  • Research codes and undertake code compliance analysis.
  • Complete assigned work with guidance from project team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or the ability to obtain licensure
  • Internship experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in or the ability to develop an understanding of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Easy Power
