Job Description

Job Overview

• Independently plans and performs experiments that support sustaining engineering, new product development or technology feasibility testing.
• Participates in Equipment and Test Method validations at the direction of the TMD/V&V group.
• Assists in the planning and execution of testing.
• Maintains documentation per GDP
• Reports results to project stakeholders and prepares technical reports.
• Serves as a technical expert regarding laboratory instrumentation, including but not limited to, robotic workstations, automated analysis instrumentation, and general laboratory equipment.
• Maintains good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with MDS product development objectives and regulatory guidelines.
• Completes other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Must follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
• Must follow all client safety policies and procedure

Qualifications

• Minimum Education/Experience: AS degree in a scientific discipline with 1 year laboratory experience, or BS degree in a scientific discipline

Basic Skills

• Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong time management skills required

Proficient/Working Skills

• Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required
