Chief Medical Officer

Position Overview

The Chief Medical Officer is a key member of the Senior Executive team, engaged in defining the overall business strategy and direction of the organization. This role leads the overall clinic vision and provides clinical direction to the Health Management Network, Product, and Credentialing divisions while ensuring the delivery of affordable, quality healthcare services.

Location: University Medical Center of El Paso · Administration; Schedule: Full Time, Days, 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Define overall business strategy and direction for the organization.
• Lead the clinic vision and provide clinical direction across divisions.
• Provide medical oversight and leadership to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years clinical experience and 10+ years in management or leadership roles.
• Demonstrated project management skills with exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and practice guidelines at national, state, and local levels.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and assess potential impacts of solutions.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
• Degree in medicine from an accredited school is required.
