Position Overview
As a Strategic Insights Lead, you will play a critical role in how Google connects with agencies and the industry ecosystem. You will craft compelling go‐to‐market narratives that resonate with agency executives and practitioners, collaborate with cross‐functional teams, and drive growth by transforming market and consumer data into actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and influence sales strategy at one of the world’s leading technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual thought leadership strategy for agency and industry engagement while presenting insights‐driven perspectives to VP/C-level audiences.
- Analyze market, consumer, and competitive trends to create fresh points of view with clear business and marketing implications.
- Collaborate with Research Leads to source and customize agency-focused data and craft compelling narratives that unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to synthesize organization-wide insights into tailored narratives across Ads, Cloud, and AI.
- Own the development of keynote presentations for critical industry events and conferences, ensuring cohesive content that persuades clients and agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
- 5 years of experience creating and presenting customer-facing materials such as pitches, narratives, or one-sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the agency landscape and relevant industry trends.
- Experience with first-party data and relevant tools.
- Experience with third-party data sources (such as syndicated data like MRI or Comscore).
- Ability to simplify big-picture strategy through granular data for C-level audiences.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders within client organizations.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000–$174,000 (base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are additional).
