Position Overview
Our enterprise telecom client is seeking an experienced Creative Project Manager to join their team in New York on a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday–Thursday, 9am–5pm) for 40 hours per week. In this role, you will support consumer programs while leading cross-functional teams across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in creative and marketing agency environments, adept at managing integrated campaigns and stakeholder communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various business units.
- Develop customized project plans and timelines tailored to business needs.
- Facilitate communication between strategy, marketing, creative, and production teams.
- Lead brief development and project phases in partnership with marketing and creative leads.
- Track scope, status, and risks; communicate updates to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external agencies on promotional and marketing efforts.
- Provide feedback during internal creative reviews and guide project direction.
- Negotiate timelines and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Recommend alternatives when key milestones shift.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of project management experience in a creative or marketing agency.
- Strong client service background in a marketing or creative setting.
- Ability to manage integrated campaigns across print, digital, paid media, TV, video, and radio.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Skilled in prioritization, problem-solving, and risk management.
- Knowledge of design and production processes (print and digital).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing projects in a matrixed organization with budgets over $2.5M.
- Strong relationship-building and team leadership abilities.
