Position Overview

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller in our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division as part of our National Branch Network. You will become a key member of the local community, supporting residents, employees, and local businesses by processing teller transactions and providing financial guidance. Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer engagement by processing teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making appropriate introductions to bankers.
  • Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies.
  • Perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently by leveraging knowledge of bank procedures, products, and partner resources.
  • Follow managerial direction and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Escalate questions and issues to more experienced team members when necessary.
  • Interact with customers to build relationships and support their financial needs.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6+ months of customer interaction experience, which may be demonstrated through work, training, military, or education experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 6+ months of experience interacting with people in varied environments (work, military, or education).
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology, emphasizing the value of mobile banking options.
  • Integrity and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Experience in teamwork aimed at meeting customer needs, including cash handling and fraud prevention protocols.
  • Familiarity with following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant military experience related to personnel benefits management or human resources is a plus.
  • Proven ability to proactively source, build, and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
