Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement responsible AI strategies and practices within Highmark Health, ensuring that all AI solutions are ethical, unbiased, and aligned with our organization's values and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential impact of AI solutions on various stakeholders, including customers, employees, and the community.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging AI technologies and their ethical implications, providing recommendations and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training and educational programs to increase awareness and understanding of responsible AI practices among employees and stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on responsible AI, staying current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Work closely with AI developers and data scientists to ensure that ethical considerations are integrated into the design and development of AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that AI solutions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead or participate in internal audits and assessments to evaluate the ethical and responsible use of AI within our organization.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and advocacy groups, to promote responsible AI practices and contribute to the development of industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and impact of AI solutions, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future development.
  • Act as a thought leader and advocate for responsible AI, representing Highmark Health at conferences, workshops, and other industry events.
  • Continuously assess and update our responsible AI framework and policies to stay aligned with evolving industry standards and best practices.
