The Warehouse Associate role includes picking, packing, scanning, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and maintaining distribution center safety compliance.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will contribute to daily distribution center operations by handling, moving, and organizing merchandise accurately and safely. You will operate material handling equipment, maintain inventory flow, and complete tasks that support timely and accurate product distribution.

• Load and unload trucks efficiently while following established safety procedures.
• Transport materials throughout the facility by carrying, pushing, rolling, or using hand trucks and other equipment.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material handling equipment to move products safely.
• Complete loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and organizing tasks with accuracy.
• Stage and prepare merchandise for shipment to ensure timely and correct distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and company safety guidelines consistently.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily performance goals.
• Perform duties under titles such as General Warehouse Associate or General Warehouse Associate II based on experience and operational requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely.
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or material handling environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Strong attention to detail when sorting, staging, and transporting products.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational standards consistently.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading shipments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous forklift certification or hands-on experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience supporting distribution center operations or inventory management processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and productivity performance metrics.
