Position Overview
Start your medical device sales career with Corza Medical. As a Territory Sales Specialist, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the field, develop strong relationships with surgeons, clinical staff, and key decision makers, while building your expertise across our Quill®, Sharpoint®, and broader wound closure portfolio. You will receive continuous coaching and accessible leadership in a collaborative environment that prepares you for future advancement. In this role, you will drive Corza Medical’s growth within non-acute markets—including ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), physician offices, dermatology, and outpatient clinics—across a defined geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined non-acute territory to meet or exceed sales goals for Corza Medical’s wound closure and surgical product portfolio.
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities through prospecting, product presentations, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and procurement/purchasing teams.
- Conduct in-services, product demonstrations, and staff education sessions to support product utilization.
- Develop account strategies that increase product adoption and market share within the assigned territory.
- Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitor actions; communicate insights to sales leadership.
- Maintain accurate sales and activity records using CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to managing sales activities, time, and travel.
- Travel within the assigned territory up to 30% of the time; territory covers Long Island, Buffalo, N New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 0–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (B2B, healthcare, or related fields).
- Interest in the medical device or healthcare industry; previous internship or entry-level exposure is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel within the territory and occasionally overnight.
- Must live within the assigned territory area.
- Must meet hospital credentialing requirements.

- Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $100,000/annual (base + commission), with adjustments based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, job-related skills, experience, and certifications.
