Position Overview

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a US Marketing Manager for its Aesthetic and Reconstruction Business, located onsite in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will oversee the US Portfolio, Life Cycle Management, and conference strategies while developing HCP and patient marketing materials that comply with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, agencies, and partners to drive innovative campaigns that elevate brand presence in the medical device space. Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills are essential to succeed in this position and help deliver breakthroughs that impact health for humanity.

Location: Irvine, California, United States of America

Salary: $102,000.00 - $177,100.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and optimize promotional campaigns ensuring alignment with global strategy.
  • Lead US conference strategy and execution by partnering with societies, Professional Affairs, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development of Mentor consumer and patient marketing, promotional, and educational campaigns and materials not specific to one channel.
  • Maintain and update patient brochures, discussion guides, and other patient-facing materials to ensure accuracy and current information.
  • Manage and update all portfolio claims, ensuring that the claims matrix remains current.
  • Collaborate on content management and consumer journey initiatives with other marketing partners.
  • Monitor marketplace and competitive trends and anticipate potential challenges.
  • Guide agencies, vendors, and partners to implement tactical plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Apply innovative ideas and new technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Ensure legal, regulatory compliance, and medical accuracy in all marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with Market Research, Analytics & Sales Ops teams to address research and insight needs for campaign optimizations.
  • Partner with the sales force to deliver effective communication, training, and messaging.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve meaningful business outcomes and impact.
  • Evaluate new and innovative marketing opportunities and provide recommendations for adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience; surgical medical device marketing experience is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Product Manager role for a medical device company with HCP and consumer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing promotional budgets coupled with strong business analysis capabilities.
  • Digital experience including website development, social media, SEM, and SEO is preferred.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and launching new products or indications.
  • Proven track record of implementing strategies that deliver strong commercial results across traditional and digital channels.
  • Outstanding project management skills with experience managing multiple vendors and partners.
  • Deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in medical device promotions and compliance-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills including listening, presentation, writing, and editing.
  • Solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
