SigmaNEST, one of our dynamic business units, is the leading provider of end-to-end CAD/CAM software solutions that help customers optimize material utilization, machine motion, manpower, and data management. The SigmaNEST Director of Sales will oversee software sales in the Northern United States and Canada. • Tools and Process Advancements: Lead the implementation of new tools – including Salesforce, Apollo, and GONG – to enhance the sales funnel.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): Strategically leverage AI to streamline workflows and drive efficiency across the sales team.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage sales professionals across “Hunter” and “Renewal” roles, including oversight of reseller recruitment and performance management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to optimize customer experience and solution delivery.
  • Sales Analytics: Analyze performance metrics to provide insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contract Negotiation & Service Agreements: Negotiate sales contracts and SLAs to align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Cost Management: Manage go-to-market costs in accordance with the sales and expense plan.
  • Key Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for designated key accounts, focusing on expansion, renewals, and customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Coverage: Optionally serve as an individual contributor in parts of the region to balance territory loads and ensure process adherence.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 15+ years in sales within CAD/CAM or software solutions, including at least 5 years in a people leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software solutions and their applications in manufacturing processes.
