Position Overview

Oracle America, Inc. is seeking a talented software engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and test/QA software within its innovative software engineering division. In this role, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, and design application solutions according to provided specifications, build enhancements to existing architectures, and suggest improvements. This is an opportunity that may offer telecommuting, and the position is at Career LevelIC1.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test/QA software solutions.
• Apply software architecture principles to develop, debug, or design applications and operating systems per design specifications.
• Build enhancements within the existing software architecture and suggest improvements.
• Embrace telecommuting opportunities as applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in software system design, development, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks including Java, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Familiarity with cloud technology encompassing networking, containers, and databases.
• Understanding of distributed system design.
• Experience with Linux and Windows technologies, including Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• Background in DevOps and automation.

• Compensation:Hiring range USD $57,000 to $141,200 per annum; may be eligible for bonus and equity.
