Silver Lining works with nonprofit and community partners to support outreach, fundraising, and engagement events throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Our team focuses on creating positive, in-person experiences that help organizations connect with the communities they serve.
Role Summary
We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy working with people and supporting live events. As a Junior Event Marketing Assistant, you will help coordinate and support scheduled community outreach events, assist with event logistics, and engage with attendees in a professional and friendly manner.
This is an in-person role, not remote, not door-to-door, and not commission-only. This is a W-2 position with weekly pay and paid training.
What You’ll Do
- Support nonprofit and community campaigns at scheduled local events
- Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Engage with event attendees and provide program information
- Help track basic event participation and feedback
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive event environment
Schedule & Location
- Full-time (35–40 hours per week)
- Reliable transportation to local event sites within the Greater New Orleans area is required
- Some weekends required based on event schedules
Compensation & Benefits
- $43,800.14–$55,157.15 annually
- Weekly pay schedule
- Paid training and onboarding

- Comfortable in public-facing environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or events is a plus
- We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including those with international experience, who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. (OPT/CPT eligible). This position does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
