Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design utility systems by developing and implementing plans for water, wastewater, and energy systems across California.
  • Manage construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain utility systems, identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, incorporating the latest advancements into utility system improvements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal standards by working closely with regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with developing and managing budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and utility customers.
  • Keep detailed records of project plans, designs, budgets, and maintenance activities for audits and future reference.
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols on all utility projects.
