As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience working on projects that span design, analysis, manufacturing, quality, and sales, while exemplifying our commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales teams on engineering projects.
- Utilize current tools and skills to suggest improvements or future developments.
- Exemplify Kingsbury’s safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements.
- Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings.
- Provide updates and feedback to subject matter experts on assigned tasks.
- Oversee and maintain quality standards per Kingsbury Quality Assurance across products and processes.
- Complete special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Completed sophomore or junior year and currently pursuing an engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated interest in design and analysis through academic projects or personal pursuits.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude with proficiency in MS Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor or ANSYS.
