Our Summer Intern Program in Northeast Philadelphia, PA, offers a hands‐on experience in the Engineering Department with access to state-of-the-art equipment, a competitive wage, and in-house training. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience working on projects that span design, analysis, manufacturing, quality, and sales, while exemplifying our commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales teams on engineering projects.
  • Utilize current tools and skills to suggest improvements or future developments.
  • Exemplify Kingsbury’s safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements.
  • Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings.
  • Provide updates and feedback to subject matter experts on assigned tasks.
  • Oversee and maintain quality standards per Kingsbury Quality Assurance across products and processes.
  • Complete special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed sophomore or junior year and currently pursuing an engineering degree from an accredited institution.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in design and analysis through academic projects or personal pursuits.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude with proficiency in MS Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or ANSYS.
