Traveling CT Technologist

Position Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. In this role, you will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images while ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging quality. The position is on Nights (5 days x 8 hours) with Compensation: $2,052 to $2,359 per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal imaging.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details accurately in hospital systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification
• Other certifications and licenses as required
