Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various specialties (chemistry, hematology, immunology) while adhering to established protocols.
- Carefully analyze test results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples meticulously for testing.
- Document procedures, train new team members or students, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science (or a comparable allied health degree) with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certificationin Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially in quality control and documentation.
