Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a barista/cashier to manage all sales transactions in a fast-paced retail environment in line with all cash handling and cash reconciliation guidelines. As the final person that the customer sees before they complete their service experience, you will provide a memorable end to their visit by providing personalized service to ensure that they are happy with their experience and have everything they need before they leave the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales transactions in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Provide personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Check that customers are registered on the customer database
  • Provide product availability to employees and customers
  • Assist with staff scheduling on an occasional basis
  • Greet customers and ensure prompt service
  • Answer telephone calls and provide follow-up
  • Contact customers about upcoming events and launches, and book consultations

Required Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for an interview

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail/guest services experience

Compensation

  • Anticipated Hourly Range $15.00 to $23.50(Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget)
