SkillStorm is actively seeking AWS Cloud Engineers for our Fortune 500 client.

While the ideal Cloud Engineer candidate has previous knowledge of Computer Hardware, Networking, Linux and Windows, Light coding, we'll train and certify you in the technology our client is seeking to ensure you're ready to go day one on the job.

Cloud Engineer Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required (Information Technology Degree preferred but not required.)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance. (The process involves a thorough background check, including a review of criminal records, tax records, employment history, drug possession, and personal references.)
  • Must have knowledge of Computer Hardware, Networking, Linux and Windows, Light coding.
  • Possesses a conceptual understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Exposure to coding such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, Scala, Ruby, C#, C++, Python.
  • Introductory familiarity of SQL.
  • Strong technical mind-set, including problem solving, troubleshooting, logical reasoning.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the US on a permanent status is required.
