Job Description

Position Overview

The Billing & Technical Customer Service Advisor is a dynamic, full-time work-from-home role that begins with billing support and evolves into technical support after initial training. In the first 60 days you will assist customers with their account and billing issues; after 45-60 days, you will be upskilled to handle technical issues with customer devices. You will work independently while collaborating with management and co-workers in a remote environment.

Location: Work from Home
Schedule: Mid and Evening shifts, including at least one weekend day (typically 9-hour shifts between 10am - 10pm CST)

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and resolve account and billing issues effectively, ensuring timely call resolution.
  • Upskill after 45-60 days to provide technical support for customer devices.
  • Provide product solutions and guarantee customer satisfaction on every call.
  • Collaborate with management and team members in a remote environment while working independently.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism during all customer interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requirements: Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience Required: At least six months of customer service experience.
  • Must have high-speed internet access (download ≥10 Mbps, upload ≥3 Mbps, ping <175 ms) through an ethernet connection.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to accurately type at least 30 wpm; familiarity with iOS and/or macOS is preferred.
  • Must have a dedicated workspace that is exclusively accessible during work hours.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must reside in one of the approved states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Contact Center and/or in a work-from-home environment.
  • Familiarity with technical support roles or experience troubleshooting customer devices.
