Position Overview

P&G Professional, the commercial division of Procter & Gamble, is dedicated to improving the lives of consumers outside the home. The Senior Field Service Technician is a field-based role responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chemical dispensing equipment as well as other systems used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations. Location: Tampa

This is a full-time position that comes with competitive benefits. Schedule: Full time | Salary: $22.99 / hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Work a standard 5-day week (8 hours per day) with potential for 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, and night shifts.
  • Lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb vertical ladders and stairs as needed.
  • Stand, sit, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach for extended periods during equipment installation and maintenance, often on uneven surfaces.
  • Operate a computer keyboard and phone for data entry and communication.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to visual and audible equipment alarms for startup, evacuation, and fire safety.
  • Operate a motor vehicle, spending approximately 30% of the day traveling in city, rural, and expressway conditions.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, including hot and cold environments, typically in warehouse conditions.
  • Adhere to onsite safety and operational requirements at customer locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
  • Moderate working knowledge of tools, equipment, and service requirements.
  • Proficient in using laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel overnight occasionally and work off-hours as needed.
  • Candidate must reside in the specified city.
  • Availability for on-call coverage, which may include occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
