SUMMARY: The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Diagnostic Radiography. The Technologist must be versatile, able to float between modalities throughout the work day, perform any diagnostic x-ray procedure, and demonstrate flexibility with occasional on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Produce diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Diagnostic Radiography. Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures as needed and float between modalities as required. Occasional call requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications: Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college is preferred; or one to two years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience Required: Competency in at least two modalities: CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or PET.
- Requirements: State Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credentials (ARRT-N, ARRT-MR, and/or ARRT-CT) along with BLS certification.
