Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to General Work Requirements
- Research and administer special programs, which may include warranty, Smart Parts, and open delivery items
- Work with customers to clarify requirements and ensure customer expectations are met
- Assist in creating project flow charts and other management tools in support of aircraft visits
- Determine resource availability, such as tools and/or components, while coordinating with resource providers on issues that could impact the Master Schedule
- Create aircraft work packages in an efficient manner, including identifying material, tooling, and manpower requirements prior to scheduled induction
- Attend customer debrief or pre-induct sessions prior to aircraft arrival as required
- Input data into systems as needed
- Maintain and assist in developing aircraft model–specific technical information (e.g. airframe, engine, avionics, and paint/interior)
- Communicate and coordinate with departments such as Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service to gather work package data for invoicing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
- Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, database, project, email, and web-based applications
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with co-workers, customers, management, and contractors
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize and coordinate workload across multiple projects with dynamic priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and make sound business decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A&P Certificate or FCC License
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis
- Experience with SAP, Maximo, and/or Pivotal
- Basic knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (e.g., parts 91, 121, 135, and 145)
- Understanding of the process for producing Airworthiness Directives
