2025-2026 Facilities Engineer Full Time (Previous Intern)

Position Overview

Chevron Corporation, one of the world's leading integrated energy companies, is seeking entry-level Facilities Engineers to support operating facilities and projects by applying technical engineering expertise and project management skills. This role is based in multiple locations including Ames, Iowa; Bakersfield, California; Belle Chasse, Louisiana; Covington, Louisiana; El Segundo, California; Geismar, Louisiana; Greeley, Colorado; Houston, Texas; Midland, Texas; Pasadena, Texas; Pascagoula, Mississippi; Richmond, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Candidates will also benefit from participation in Chevron's Horizons Program, which provides formal training, mentoring, and diverse job assignments to build a strong technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimizing facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
• Providing technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
• Developing and/or deploying industry leading technologies to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
• Using digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Students in the final year of a bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, or individuals with a completed degree and two years or less of directly related work experience.
• Strong academic performance in core programs along with excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive on a routine basis.

• Compensation: Anticipated salary range of $108,000 - $136,300, determined based on degree level and discipline for U.S. payroll offers.
