Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Design Engineer (Technical Service Engineer) with expertise in Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or plastics to serve as a liaison between our products and clients in the Automotive, Home Appliance, or Consumer product industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced product design processes including design optimization, plastic assembly design, and Computer Aided Engineering (structural, vibration, heat flow, deformation, flow analysis).
- Conduct advanced material testing and numerical analysis (e.g., high strain rate, fatigue, creep, residual stress, fractography).
- Communicate with customers and provide effective solutions both online and offline.
- Investigate new technologies and design experiments using CAE tools (ABAQUS, ANSYS, LS-Dyna) along with Pre/Post Process tools (Hyperworks, CATIA) to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and other documentation while overseeing lab operations and safety processes.
- Collaborate with headquarters to develop technical roadmaps and provide training/seminars for customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Naval Architecture, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, CAE/FEA analysis, advanced material testing, or related fields within OEM or Tier 1 automotive sectors.
- Proficiency in FEA tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, LS-Dyna, NASTRAN, or similar programs.
- Experience with 2D/3D modeling tools (e.g., CATIA, ProE, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Design X, Solidworks) and evaluation tools (UTM, fatigue, creep testing).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
