Business Analyst, Banking Operations - Juris Banking
Location:
CA - San Diego, 450 B StThe Business Analyst will play an important role in shaping the success of the company's initiatives and projects while improving internal processes and frameworks. Part of the Business Operations Support team and reporting directly to the Juris Banking Deposit Operations Director, the ideal candidate will evaluate and interpret business visions and formalize them into clear, structured requirements for stakeholders, project managers, and software engineers. This role also involves coordinating projects, supporting business applications, solving organizational information challenges, and enhancing internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input to the Business Operations Support team to prioritize incoming business requests.
- Consult with Business Units and Subject Matter Experts to identify, clarify, and document project objectives.
- Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Coordinate management team members to ensure objectives, goals, and milestones are met.
- Ensure any changes are captured and effectively communicated to the implementation team.
- Act as the key interface between the business and the project manager to gather information, document processes, and confirm final documents.
- Assist with more detailed project objectives, including business needs analysis, clear structured requirements, tradeoff analysis, requirement feasibility, risk analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Develop test schedules, review or create test plans, track and document development/results, and verify solutions meet the requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of related experience.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience with data analysis and research with the ability to identify and escalate cases to mitigate bank risks.
- Intermediate skills in the MS Office Suite.
- Experience with banking applications and systems is preferred.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation
Salary range for new hires is generally $84,045.00 - $103,000.00 for San Diego, CA. Salary amount is determined by the specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
