Key Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to the assessed medical conditions.
• Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as needed.
• Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
• Participates in health promotion and education programs as applicable.
• Observes, assesses, and records patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
• Adheres to legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of drugs, non-pharmaceutical aids, proper dosages, and patient instruction.
• Maintains awareness of accreditation and certification requirements.
• Utilizes current principles and methods for effective medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Medical License in Illinois.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specified medical specialty.
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
• Completed a U.S. Residency Program.
