Job Description

Position Overview

Envision Physician Services is seeking a board-certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the established practice at AdventHealth Tampa. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services, including cardiac anesthesia, in a large, multidisciplinary hospital setting with a focus on quality patient care and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients, including general, regional, and cardiac anesthesia.
  • Participate in a case mix that includes all areas except trauma and transplants.
  • Collaborate with a team of 21 physicians and 52 anesthetists to deliver high-quality anesthesia services.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols and standards.
  • Contribute to preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and clinical best practices.
  • Support minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
  • Participate in educational activities and team meetings.

Compensation

  • Salary plus incentives, with a competitive base salary.
  • Start date bonus of $75,000.
  • Sign-on bonus of $75,000.
  • Relocation assistance available.
  • Additional income opportunities include retention bonuses and CME allowances.

Required Qualifications

  • Board certification in Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred.
  • Current medical license or eligibility to practice in Florida.
  • Experience in cardiac anesthesia and a broad range of anesthesia techniques.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate variable scheduling.
