Position Overview
Netflix, one of the world’s leading entertainment services with over 300 million members, is seeking an experienced Project Manager. Reporting to the Marketplace Engagement Lead, you will work closely with cross‐functional teams—including Ad Sales, Brand Creative Studio, Events, and XFN Leadership—to establish and manage the foundational elements of strategic partnership initiatives. This role is pivotal in building communication systems, operational processes, and managing key milestones that drive effective client engagement. Compensation: Annual salary in the range of $160,000 - $240,000, with a flexible mix of salary and stock options determined by market indicators, your background, skills, and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- System and Workflow Establishment: Develop and implement systems and workflows to support efficient partnership execution.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners during the foundational build phase.
- Milestone Development & Management: Track and manage key milestones, ensuring timely progress and addressing potential roadblocks.
- Process Documentation: Record best practices and document processes to refine partnership execution strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to monitor performance and prepare regular updates for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in project management, operations, or related fields within the entertainment/media or advertising industries.
- Strong understanding of post-event processes and the ability to establish effective systems and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven analytical capabilities to organize, clarify, and communicate complex ideas succinctly.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and strategic initiative management in fast-paced environments.
- Experience collaborating with finance, legal, content, social, consumer marketing, and other essential departments in large media companies.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a matrixed environment.
- A goal-oriented, adaptable mindset with a passion for strategic innovation and operational excellence.
