Position Overview

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity (DAHFH) builds strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership for individuals and families. Our work includes affordable homeownership opportunities, financial education, advocacy, retail initiatives, and neighborhood empowerment programs that transform families and revitalize communities.

About the Position: Dallas Habitat seeks a skilled and versatile Marketing and Outreach Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will drive awareness, engagement, and affinity for our mission. This strategic, hands-on role is ideal for a self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment and can balance short-term execution with long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute omni-channel marketing strategies across traditional and digital channels.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns—including email (using Constant Contact), web, SEO/SEM, and social media (via Hootsuite).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies/consultants to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
  • Produce and distribute marketing assets such as newsletters, digital ads, visual content, and social media graphics using tools like Canva.
  • Coordinate special events, manage vendor relationships, and oversee budget management to ensure successful event execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in online marketing, social media strategy, and digital analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), WordPress, Google Analytics 4, Hootsuite, and Constant Contact.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
