Job Description

Position Overview

Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer - REMOTE. As a DevOps Engineer, you will modernize and automate our infrastructure management across hosted and cloud environments. You will introduce and maintain infrastructure as code repositories, implement and monitor security for operations, assist development teams in migrating applications to automated CI/CD pipelines, and set best practice standards across the organization. This is a fully remote role, part of a US-based team, and applications will be accepted until Apr 30, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Modernize and automate infrastructure management.
  • Administer Windows/Linux servers within hosted and cloud environments.
  • Introduce and maintain infrastructure as code repositories.
  • Implement and monitor the security of operations.
  • Assist development teams in migrating applications to automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Set and maintain DevOps best practice standards across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-5+ years of experience managing and operating critical infrastructure in a cloud-based environment.
  • Experience with device and application monitoring tools such as Site24x7, New Relic, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, etc.
  • Strong experience with creating and maintaining pipelines within CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, AWS CodeDeploy, or BitBucket.
  • Advanced knowledge in creating and maintaining containerized applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating applications from dedicated environments to cloud-based providers.
  • AWS certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience setting up and securely configuring web servers such as Apache, Nginx, and IIS.
