Product Marketing Manager, AI Model Training

Shutterstock’s Data Licensing division is powering the next generation of AI model training, creative automation, and data-driven innovation. We license large-scale, high-quality datasets to leading technology companies and research organizations to help build safer, more performant, and ethically sourced AI systems.
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for our Model Training team—the team responsible for delivering products and services that support AI model builders around the globe. In this role, you will be the product evangelist who organizes product launches, crafts compelling positioning and messaging, and bridges product strategy with effective sales and marketing tactics. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and sales teams, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing for Model Training.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the competitive landscape and external factors to identify trends that inform product strategy.
- Lead development and maintenance of product positioning frameworks and translate them into compelling messaging.
- Serve as the expert on product value and differentiation, maintaining key statistics and proof points for sales materials.
- Conduct buyer research to understand needs, pain points, motivations, and buying journeys.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch new products.
- Manage processes for communicating product updates and enhancements to customers.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans that drive awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Create training and sales enablement materials such as sell sheets, pitch decks, and case studies.
- Integrate the voice of the customer into product strategy and report on campaign effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of product marketing experience in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and collaboration tools including Jira and Github.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical language into compelling value messages.
- Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Excel and Tableau.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; business or marketing preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III or higher is preferred.
- Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technology products.
