In this role, you will turn complex commercial and consumer data into clear, actionable insights—shaping trade terms, investment allocation, and brand economic positioning to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse shipments, depletions and sell‑out data to identify margin shifts under different deal structures and recommend adjustments that improve profitability across manufacturer–distributor–retailer channels.
- Monitor promotional investments, benchmark against competitive norms, and build pre/post event dashboards to quantify impact and guide future allocation decisions.
- Partner with State Sales Managers to capture and maintain accurate promotional plans and funding mechanisms in internal systems.
- Identify trade‑up opportunities across brands, categories, and packages by defining economic positioning (affordability vs. premiumization) relative to key competitors.
- Initiate and manage primary research with agencies to uncover competitive sets, purchase drivers, and decision factors that inform pricing, promotion, and structural choices.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Business or a related field.
- 2+ years evaluating commercial structures, trade agreements, and P&L performance to optimize profitability.
- 2+ years building analytical models, working with large datasets and translating data into decision‑ready insights.
- Strong gross profit mindset, commercial P&L fluency, and hands-on breakeven analysis experience.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to turn complex analysis into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consumer products experience, including familiarity with BevAlc and the US 3‑Tier distribution model, is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, Python, and SAP.
