Join our Top 10 global design firm in the Buildings practice as a full-time, entry level Architectural Designer, where you will learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals in a dynamic hybrid work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of designs through sketches, physical models, digital models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.
- Utilize BIM to create three-dimensional building models and support construction document production.
- Participate in project reviews, critiques, and team meetings with internal members, external consultants, and clients.
- Prepare and revise documentation across all project phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, sections, and details.
- Coordinate with building systems (structure, mechanical, electrical, etc.) and assist with contract administration tasks such as submittal review and construction site visits.
- Implement sustainable design principles, conduct site analysis, and research design concepts, materials, and precedents.
- Manage space planning and block planning in coordination with the building program.
- Ensure work accuracy and completeness while managing time to meet project budgets and schedules.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Revit; familiarity with tools like Enscape, Lumion, Sketch-up, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or Master degree of Architecture or a related field.
- 0 to 3 years’ experience in architectural design or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility codes, building codes, and construction systems.
- Established NCARB record or active progress towards licensure preferred.
- LEED Green Associate or LEED AP credentials are a plus.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $60,700.00 - $85,000.00 Annually for locations in MN, OH, VT, and various areas in CA and NY. Final compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience, work location, and role bonus eligibility; part-time roles are pro-rated.
