Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem PRN - $25.74 per hour

Position Overview

As a nursing assistant with Nursa, you will provide basic care and support patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse across various healthcare settings including nursing facilities, long-term care centers, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and home healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, and walking or exercising.
• Record vital signs, height, and weight.
• Measure and record dietary intake and output.
• Observe patients to detect symptoms requiring medical attention.
• Document all care provided and refused, and submit necessary paperwork.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Assist nurses or physicians in operating medical equipment and providing care.
• Transport patients to treatment units, operating rooms, or other required areas using appropriate equipment.
• Clean and sanitize patient areas and equipment, adhering to safety and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a nurse assistant course that meets state requirements.
• Passing the state’s competency exam and obtaining the required certification or license, if applicable.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
• Experience working as part of a team while providing compassionate and reliable care.
• Strong communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
