Job Description

Position Overview

Location: San Diego, CA. Our Jewelry Consultants provide an exceptional experience for every Brilliant Earth customer. As a Jewelry Consultant, you will guide customers through the life of the sale via engaging in-person and virtual appointments, phone calls, or live-chat. You will assist customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line. Compensation: $22/hour. Schedule: Full-time, including weekend days; this role is in-person at our San Diego showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize sales strategies and deep product knowledge to guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions via appointments and walk-in consultations, creating memorable and personalized experiences.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads via email, live chat, and phones to attain individual revenue targets while providing a luxury customer experience.
  • Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process, ensuring a one-on-one engaging experience.
  • Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, resizing, and other inquiries.
  • Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions.
  • Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, collaborating with leadership to continuously improve the customer experience and sales performance.
  • Enforce policies in the waiting area to ensure a safe, pleasant environment and maintain product security.
  • Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area as needed.
  • Use the ERP system to manage tasks and facilitate cross-functional communication.
  • Act as a brand advocate by sharing Brilliant Earth's mission for a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
