As a full-time Surgery Patient Care Technician, you will work Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm (with Wednesdays off and no weekends or holidays), becoming an essential member of our 550+ team dedicated to redefining patient experiences the OSH Way.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean operating rooms after surgeries, including handling tasks involving blood, bone, and other matter.
- Assist in patient transfers – from moving patients between beds to repositioning during pre-surgery preparation.
- Perform housekeeping, transportation, and courier duties in the surgical services area to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of surgical area equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start date or to be completed at OSH within 60 days free of charge.
- Excellent cognitive, technical, and interpersonal skills.
