Job Description

Position Overview

This is a 2-month contract covering for a leave with an onsite role in Universal City, CA. The position offers Compensation: $45-50/hr W2. The Global Manager, Global Partnership Marketing in the Global Promotions department supports the Global Director, Marketing & Creative in building, developing, and executing strategic partnerships between corporate partners and the Motion Picture Group. The focus of this role is to assist in the development and management of various global promotional marketing and creative campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of the Global Director, manage creative development and execution of co-branded advertising campaigns supporting theatrical releases; includes television, print, radio, online media, in-store point-of-sale materials, packaging, premiums, and mobile content for global promotional campaigns.
  • Liaise with both internal and external creative vendors when needed for special print and packaging jobs, TV spots, etc.
  • Manage the approval process internally (marketing execs, filmmakers, creative advertising, brand marketing, publicity, events, legal) and externally (promotional partners and agencies).
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact with promotional partners, advertising agencies, and internal and external executives.
  • Coordinate PR & Events – partner-sponsored special events, trade shows, press releases, media alerts, etc.
  • Manage creative asset distribution internally and externally and assist with departmental creative needs.
  • Maintain account management grids, status reports, and email communication to internal and external promotional partners and agencies.
  • Prepare program recap presentations and filmmaker presentations.
  • Conduct competitive research.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 4+ years in strategic marketing, brand management, promotions, or consumer marketing. Entertainment experience is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop clear and consistent messages across various stakeholders.
  • Experience working with filmmakers, talent, and/or creatives.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Photoshop; Illustrator skills are a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple supervisory inputs while working both collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong, effective, and succinct communicator with both internal and external partners.
  • Proactive, with strong initiative and the ability to anticipate the needs of the Account Management Team and senior management; adept at multitasking and prioritization.
  • Comfortable formulating a point of view and presenting it to colleagues, senior management, and filmmakers.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who considers solutions before escalating issues.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, self-motivated, and passionate about responsibilities.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and capable of keeping tasks on schedule and within budget.
  • Flexible, entrepreneurial, resourceful, professional, and a team player.
  • Motion studio experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong influencing skills are strongly desired.
